December is just around the corner and as the party season switches into gear, we thought we should have a little jolly of our own in the form of a wine and sausage pairing evening over at our shop in Waterloo, SE1.
It's actually a well-known secret amongst Masters of Wine, buyers, blenders and sommeliers that the humble snag is the ultimate food to pair with vino, and there's a whole host of flavour combinations to explore.
Leading the session will be none other than Victoria Sharples, a consultant and curator of wine experiences, and we have collaborated with Victoria many times in the past. So expect an evening of fun and laughter, combined with knowledge and learning - all of which should lend authority at the festive table when you are dishing the chipolatas out on Christmas Day and pouring forth.
‘Yes, this luscious, fruity Mâcon should go really well with the blend of herbs and spices in this particular banger. Cranberry sauce anyone?’
Furthermore, Richard H. Turner is developing a range of new sausages that will be coming out in 2024 and we shall be showcasing one for your delectation.
Yes, this is an opportunity to taste a new T&G sausage before anyone else!

In other festive news, you may have noticed that delivery slots heading into Christmas weekend are now full.
Well, we are pleased to announce that another 25 slots will becoming available for Friday 22nd December tomorrow morning.
