It's been a while but we're pleased to announce that we are heading back into the Essex countryside next month and will be running a very special pop-up at The Cricketers - a beautiful pub set within bucolic Mill Green, just outside Ingatestone.
A sublime 4 course beef tasting menu, that truly champions regenerative farming is on the cards, alongside wine pairings curated by local independent wine merchants Mr Wheeler.
The meat itself will be sourced from some amazing Angus X Friesian beef from Marc Jones at Trefnant Farm, near Welshpool, aged for 55 days - and to be frank, we are already salivating at the prospect.
Just take a look at the menu below, put together by Mr Richard H. Turner and you’ll see what we mean:

Crémant de Limoux Rosé ‘Grande Cuvée 1531’, Sieur d’Arques, France
Chopped steak tartare with sour cream and ‘Nduja
