Incredible good quality of meat and options. We have been getting our beef wellington meat from here and it has been great. Burgers, sausage, lamb chops are all amazing as well. The meat quality is so good that only a little is needed for seasoning. It is very fresh. The staff is veru knowledgable based on recipes and what is good to use. The side items such as beef stock, salami, wines are also great. It is an all rounded great butcher and store.
Although I moved to the Angel/Islington area last year, I’ve only just discovered Turner & George recently as I’ve been trying to level up my cooking. While I have only bought more economical cuts of beef like chuck and bavette so far, they have all tasted so delicious and are clearly of extremely high quality. Also, the staff have always been friendly, efficient, and professional, and I truly enjoy going back each time to shop there.
